Over the past 12 years of practice as a Public Artist, I have gained experience of working on a wide variety of public art commissions. The majority of these projects have held artist-led involvement of community groups at their heart.

I work in many settings; healthcare (including mental health), schools, museums, art galleries and libraries. I have also worked with a broad range of age groups and abilities. This has included primary and secondary age, elderly, families, adults with learning disabilities, refugees and individuals with mental health issues.

I specialise in devising and running arts workshops, for different levels of ability and engagement. Workshops are organised so that each individual can learn and execute the techniques.

I plan hands-on art sessions, that give individuals an experience of a positive and creative process, whatever their previous experience or ability. The workshops provide a process where individuals can make their mark and express themselves, gaining an understanding of the design process and creating artworks of a high calibre whether temporary or permanent.

Since graduation from Chelsea Art College 12 years ago, I have gained a wide variety of experience working on public art commisions.

I have gained experience the whole design process, from planning and leading arts sessions, brainstorming on ideas and themes, creating designs and producing finished artworks.  Working as part of a team, communicating ideas, making formal presentations, documenting the design and consultation process through written and photographic means and working to budget.

Commissions have required that I manage my own time effectively, relating to each project, making sure each project runs on budget and to the agreed programme.
